Awesome program!

I've been struggling to become more fluent in Spanish for several years. It wasn't until I had a patient in nursing school who spoke nothing but Spanish that I knew I needed to try harder! I've fallen in love with this product! Although I'm not very far yet (thanks to still being in nursing school) the first chapter has already improved my pronunciation, as well as taught me basic commands that will be extremely helpful when working with Spanish-speaking patients! This book comes with three CDs that you can play in your car or home stereo along with a test book that allows you to prove what you've learned! I highly recommend everyone in the medical field to purchase this product!

I felt like the vocab was very pertinent and woman is great but the guy doesn't enunciate the Spanish words clearly enough and unfortunately he's the one speaking most of the Spanish so I can't get a good grasp of how to pronounce it when I'm driving and I obviously can't be looking at the book to see the spelling when behind the wheel. I grew up in Los Angeles so I have quite a bit of exposure to Spanish but with his accent I only understand 50% of what he says in Spanish. I bought this to listen to while commuting to work and school but it's pretty much useless unless I have the book in front of me.

I think it does a pretty good job of teaching the medical terminology that's important

This isn't a beginner's Spanish book. It's difficult to understand some things without having a background in Spanish first. I think it does a pretty good job of teaching the medical terminology that's important, though. My only complain? The illustrations suck. Come on guys, spend a little more for some actual pictures!
