paranormal fun!

Finally, a new author for my watch and buy list, who puts together a story (a whole story, not just bits and pieces or not fleshed out ideas). In this book you meet Sunny (a psychic, not psycho, gotta love how she distinguished there), and you join her on her adventure to save her bestie and find love (unexpectedly). The heroine is kick butt, though not I'm a classic fighting way, more so the she gets her butt kicked but bounces back each time to keep on going, until she gets the bad guy and her hea. This book is a full stand alone, but so many characters in the town were introduced, including a hot shaman and Sunny's BYF, who could definitely star in future books (please!). If your loving for a book that keeps you turning the pages anticipating where it is go on next, this is a great one for you, with a entertaining cast of characters, psychic visions and paranormal elements, and some hot/sexy times with true love emerging, this covered all my basis. I was provided with an ARC, but would have bought this one anyways!

Incredible exhilarating well written read. Renee has pushed the boundaries of imagination to create an entertaining story that astounds you from beginning to end. The characters are credible and certainly praise-worthy. Faced with many stressful perils Sunny did not succumb to defeat; her passion and lion-hearted persona make her a most valiant heroine; Babel's protective nature and unfading devotion shines like a beacon. I relished this story, it was a most gratifying read. If you dote on shifter fantasy with sizzling romance, mystery, and humor this is definitely a fabulous choice for your library. {I was given a copy of this book for a completely truthful review}. In the world of shifters the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations I highly recommend this book....

First, this cover does not do this book justice! I expected a light, little, cutesy story. Oh no!! This is up there as one of the better paranormal mysteries I have read, & believe me I've read a lot! It had twists & turns, & mystery, & some really hot passionate scenes! But above all, it touched my heart. It made me laugh & it made me cry my eyes out. I am so glad this book was recommended to me. If you like hot paranormal romance/mysteries make sure you read this one!! Now I am eagerly awaiting book #2!
